Things you should know

* Interest rates at the lower end of our range, for example 8.00%/8.49%/5.99% p.a. (comparison rate 9.40%/9.88%/7.41% p.a.), may be offered to customers with an excellent credit history.

An excellent credit history is determined by, among other things, paying your bills and making loan repayments on or ahead of time, being disciplined with your credit applications, and not overextending yourself financially.

Actions which can negatively impact your credit history include missing bill or loan repayments, defaulting on your credit facility, or making a large number of credit applications in a short period of time. Your interest rate may be different and is based on a number of factors, including your credit history, the information you provide and our assessment of your application. We'll confirm your interest rate upon submission of your application.

1. Comparison rates calculated on loans as follows:
   • For Variable Rate Personal Loans and Fixed Rate Personal Loans: the comparison rate is based on a $30,000 unsecured loan over 5 years;
   • For Secured Personal Loans: the comparison rate is based on a $30,000 secured loan over 5 years.

2. Additional repayments on Fixed Rate and Secured Personal Loans are subject to a maximum of $1,000 per year without a fee. View the Personal Loan Terms and Conditions (PDF 284k). Additional repayments made on a Fixed Rate and Secured Personal Loan are not available to be redrawn.
3. You will be charged a late fee of $20 when, 5 business days after a repayment due date, you are in arrears and monthly thereafter until you:
   (a) are not in arrears in your repayments/payments; or
   (b) enter into and adhere to an arrangement with us for repayment of those arrears.
4. To make it easy for you to pay several different recipients with your loan borrowings, we provide two cheques free of charge. After that, a fee of $15 applies for each additional cheque we issue on your behalf.
